Our client was in his vehicle which was stationary in traffic when a third party lost control of their vehicle, causing another vehicle to take evasive action resulting in a collision with our client.
Our client suffered a soft tissue injury as a result of the accident.
How we helped our client
We raised court proceedings on our client’s behalf. As well as compensation for his injuries, we also had to include the insurers subrogated losses, which included the total loss of his vehicle, and the credit hire charges. Initially the hire charges were disputed in full and no offers were put forward for this outlay.
After further negotiations with the Defender’s solicitors, they agreed to meet the credit hire charges in full.
Settlement
We settled our client’s claim in the sum of £19,250.
