We acted on behalf of a client who was involved in a serious road traffic collision. As our client was driving, another vehicle veered into their lane at a high speed, resulting in a head-on collision.
Our client was immediately taken to the hospital, having sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. She suffered fractures of her backbone, left tibia and fibula. She developed pes planus deformity in her left foot which will, unfortunately, be permanent.

We ingathered out client’s medical records and instructed expert reports from an orthopaedic surgeon and a psychiatrist. This allowed us to appropriately value our client’s claim and ensure she received the best possible outcome.
Settlement
The initial offer of settlement made by the third-party was £20,000. After carrying out the necessary investigations, we were able to secure a final settlement offer of £75,000.
