Our client and her three children were travelling round a roundabout in Dundee, when suddenly a third-party vehicle pulled on to the roundabout resulting in a collision with our client’s vehicle.
The third-party driver initially blamed our client and alleged that she had mis-indicated.
We intimated the four claims to the third-party insurer for the other driver, and upon providing them with our client’s engineering evidence the insurers agreed their insured was at fault and fully admitted liability on our client’s cases.
Our clients were examined by an independent GP and the medical evidence presented to the third-party insurers.
The initial offers were on the low side, but we were able to revert on the cases in order to achieve a higher offer of settlement. The insurers also arranged the necessary physiotherapy treatment in addition to the compensation offered.
