Our client attended upon the Gym to attend a fitness class. After the class she went to use the shower facilities and on entering the cubicle she slipped and fell sustaining an injury. No anti-slip mat was present.

We intimated the claim on the fitness centre, and they admitted liability.
Value of claim
Our client suffered soft tissue injuries to her neck and lower back together with a worsening of her mixed anxiety and depressive disorder from a moderate to severe degree. With CBT treatment her injuries resolved after 12 months.
We instructed two Medical Reports to determine the extent of her injuries and prognosis for the future. Settlement was agreed at £7,500 with a further £1820 towards treatment.
