Our client was driving his vehicle in Glasgow when suddenly a car travelling alongside his vehicle moved over into his lane and collided with the passenger side of his vehicle.
Our client suffered a soft tissue injury to his back, neck and shoulder, and paraesthesia to his leg as a result of the accident. He also suffered headaches and travel discomfort and anxiety following the collision. Our client required to use his holidays to take time off work for a week following the accident.
We initially arranged a medical examination by an expert GP who recommended that our client undergo physiotherapy treatment. We intimated his claim on the third party insurers who agreed to provide our client with a course of physiotherapy to assist with his symptoms.
Our client required additional physiotherapy treatment and his injuries took longer to resolve than initially expected. We then arranged for a further medical examination with an orthopaedic expert to provide his opinion on our client’s complex range of ongoing symptoms.
Our client’s claim settled for the sum of £5,250.00, which included his claim for solatium, his physiotherapy treatment, and a sum towards our client requiring to use his annual leave to take time off to recover from his injuries following the accident.
